LEARNING DOESN'T STOP WHEN YOU CROSS THE GRADUATION STAGE.

What fires you up about your FUTURE? One thing is for sure, it won't look anything like the world today. We're all on a career journey, we just don't know it. We're here to help you discover that path, so you can love your work and pursue a career.

Sounds good, right? Welcome to CTE - we're glad you're here.

Students, what if you were able to learn about cool jobs beginning in middle school, then learn more about yourself through student-led clubs as you work toward graduation? Maybe even start your own business, skill-up for a high-paying job and network with employers in your community and region.

And Parents, what if we could provide you with the resources you need to help your student earn a credential, network with employers, or earn a degree? We make it easier for you to find all the best options to help your student reach their career goals.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) is for ambitious students excited about what’s next. Our courses and experiences reinforce skills critical to the workforce of the future – ethics, problem solving, teamwork, and communication – all while being immersed in new experiences, with cutting-edge technology and real-world challenges.

What are you curious about? Building apps, flying drones or cybersecurity? We’ve got that. Building houses, caring for horses, or growing foods that will feed the world? What about building products from furniture to jets to IT infrastructure? Or helping create a healthier community and planet? We can provide you with the know-how to get there.

You can get the skills and experience you need to jump right into the workforce. Or you can pair the experiences you gain in CTE with a 2-year or 4-year degree. We know however, that not every family wants to take on college debt and often, you don’t have to! Checkout CFNC’s Countdown to College page now. Complete your FAFSA to determine what you qualify for. You may be surprised by the scholarships and grants available for you! Point is, you have options.
